The Department of Sociology organised its Third Annual Charity Event on 13 December 2025 at the college campus under the theme “Let Love, Peace and Joy Preval”. Advent Christmas Celebration was organised to reflect the Department’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement, also instilling the value of contributing and giving back to the society with little that we can.

This year, we celebrate the advent Christmas with children from Eden Resources Home and Destitute Children Home, who were warmly welcomed to the campus. The programme aimed to spread joy, and happiness during the Christmas season as this is one of the happiest and most awaited seasons of the year. Faculty members and students of the Department actively participated in the event, engaging with the children through interactive activities like fun games and festive celebrations followed by tea and snacks.
